OTAS Live is a small, hands-on team of event professionals, led by its founder, Kris Dailly.

Founder of OTAS
Kris Dailly founded OTAS Live, which was incorporated in Scotland in January 2023 and took its current name in July 2025.
Kris has worked in UK events since 2008. That started on a large UK music festival, in the event production and artist village team, and has continued across UK festivals, concerts and sport ever since.
Kris has worked on large international events since 2015.
How Kris works
Kris carries out most OTAS work in person, so the person who writes your plan is the person who runs it on the day. Every job starts with a written scope, runs to one plan across every function, and finishes with a debrief from the written record, with dated, costed actions for the next edition.
Kris works inside your structure and reports to your event manager. Every scope sets out plainly what OTAS does and what it does not do, so you, your insurers and the SAG can see exactly where responsibility sits.
The OTAS Live handbooks
Kris is the author of the OTAS Live handbooks, a series of 30 practical titles for event professionals that sets out the OTAS method in writing.
